D. JUSTIN DARROCH, Waterloo Commercial Litigation, Construction Law and Wills & Estate Administration Lawyer
Justin articled with Duncan, Linton LLP, and joined the firm as an associate following his call to the bar in 2024. Justin’s legal practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction law, and estate litigation.
Raised in Grimsby, Ontario, Justin earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Concordia University in Montreal. He later went on to study public policy at York University in Toronto. Justin attended the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he was among the school’s inaugural cohort. As a law student, he was a member of the Criminal Law Society and he competed in the McCarthy Tétrault Cup, Constitutional Law Moot. He was selected to complete his final term of law school at the Waterloo Region Courthouse assisting the Judges of the Ontario Court of Justice with research.
Prior to his legal pursuits, Justin honed his leadership skills as an executive chef, working in large restaurants in both Montreal and Toronto. During the summer months, Justin also gained experience at a Toronto boutique litigation firm, where he developed an interest in commercial litigation.
Outside of the office, Justin enjoys playing and watching sports, cooking, and spending time with family.
